¿Qué es RATCU?
RATCU (Run Arround the Clock Ultra). Una carrera de larga distancia que se celebra en Burgohondo (Ávila) que se caracteriza por ser una carrera en la que el reloj manda. El corredor deberá realizar vueltas al circuito de 11,8km en menos de dos horas cada una. Dicho de otra manera, cada dos horas se dará la salida y el corredor que no logre completar el recorrido en menos de dos horas será eliminado.
La exigencia que tiene este tipo de competición es que no hay límite de vueltas y únicamente finalizará cuando quede un único corredor que consiga completar la vuelta en menos de 2 horas solo. El reloj nunca para, habrá competición incluso de noche.
Para todo aquel que no se atreva a realizar RATCU disponemos de otras dos categorías: 36km (3 vueltas) y 12km (1 vuelta).
What is RATCU?
RATCU (Run Arround the Clock Ultra). A long-distance race held in Burgohondo (Ávila) that is characterised by being a race in which the clock is on the clock. The runner must complete laps of the 11.8km circuit in less than two hours each. In other words, every two hours the start will be given and the runner who does not manage to complete the course in less than two hours will be eliminated.
The requirement of this type of competition is that there is no limit to the number of laps and it will only finish when there is only one runner left who manages to complete the lap in less than 2 hours alone. The clock never stops, there will be competition even at night.
For those who do not dare to do the RATCU there are two other categories: 36km (3 laps) and 12km (1 lap).

ORIGEN
El origen de esta carrera se encuentra en Bulgaria, donde se celebró su primera edición entre los días 13 y 15 de junio de 2020. Todos los participantes saldrán de la misma salida, pero después de las dos horas, todo aquel que no haya pasado la línea de meta quedará descalificado. Solo irán quedando aquellos que hayan completado las vueltas en el tiempo establecido. Solo hay un ganador, el corredor y la corredoras que haya dado más vueltas y se quede solo sobre el recorrido.

The origin of this race is in Bulgaria, where it was held for the first time between 13 and 15 June 2020. All participants will start from the same starting point, but after two hours, anyone who has not crossed the finish line will be disqualified. Only those who have completed the laps within the time limit will be left. There is only one winner, the runner who has completed the most laps and is left alone on the course.
